Can iMovie handle multiclip editing?

Curious if iMovie has 3rd party plugins available to allow multiclip editing, like in FC?

are you talking about layering video tracks on top of each other, or varied video formats?
if you're referring to laying video, you can do very limited PIP functions but nothing fancy.
I'd go with FCE if you're looking to do that.

I can't say with 100% certainty (I never use iMovie), but I would guess the answer is no. AFAIK, this is only available in FCP (not even in FCE).
