Replicating this look

Graham Rahal on IndyCar - VERSUS- Video

I like the look of this video...in particular, as the screen/subject matter jumps up and down and the light effect that comes from left to right, along with the filmstrip look.

Is this is a plugin, or how did this guy do it?

A lot of that is done with 3rd party plugins like FxFactory, Nattress Film Effects, Digital Anarchy, Knoll, Red Giant, BorisFX... just off the top of my head. There's a lot more. Some of the plugins you can find from those sources will do some color grading for you as well, but I strongly suggest you grade the color yourself as much as possible, unless a certain filter has exactly the look you want.

Hmmm....I have Red Giant and FXFactory. I can achieve the color grading no problem, I'm looking more for the vignette matte and that look where you can see the edge of the film strip at 0:05 seconds into the video
