Moving this to the FCP/Mac forums. That's a good start. Apple also has support forums for FCP.

There are a fair number of excellent community sites where you can find out TONS of information and get answers on questions.

The forums at the Apple site are good.

I would highly recommend Ken Stone's site. Ken is tireless in his dedication to getting information out there and is always VERY fast in replying to questions plus he has a lot of great people who hang on the boards.

you can find his site here: http://www.kenstone.net/fcp_homepage...age_index.html

On the site CreativeMac.com they have some good stuff but most of the FCP stuff comes from Stephen Schleicher and his site has all the articles on it.

I also like the many tutorial and articles at LAFCPUG.

yeah! LAFCPUG is fantastic.

Actually a lot of the same people that write the articles for them write for Ken Stone's site.

I like finalcutproplanet.com.

Thanks for the plug Kevin! Yes, my site contains the link to all 43 (and growing) Final Cut Pro Quick Tips. As the title implies these quick tutorials are designed to cover some aspect of Final Cut Pro to help you get on with your edit.

Recent topics -
Using 16:9 footage in FCP
Fixing Logging Mistakes (as in when you accidentally digitize only video when you needed both video and audio)
Bleach Bypass in FCP (a huge favorite among readers)
Motion Paths and Bezier Curves
Explaining the Anchor Point
and a very solid workflow for getting your FCP project to After Effects for free (with a little massaging and tweaking).

Cheers!
