Adobe Premiere and Snow Leopard PROBLEMS

I'm having many problems with Snow Leopard (just upgraded from Leopard). The software seems slower. In example when I open a folder it takes many seconds to view the contents (before it was instant!). Adobe Premiere is much slower.. so slower that I cannot use my Intenisty Pro Card (with SL Drivers) because it jitters and jumpes in the playback (If I switch off desktop playback it just disappears). I think all this has to do with the way SL handles cache... but how to solve? Is Adobe abandoning Mac again ?!?!?

Far from abandoning Mac OS Adobe is actually ramping up support and products.

Do you have the latest update to PP, 4.1? I've noticed that PP takes longer to load the application but once loaded things run just as smoothly as before, in fact renders take a little less time in SL.

If you did the "upgrade" rather than the hybrid update discussed in another thread here (still in the top of the list) that might be why; both PP and FCP had issues with upgrade installs.

It could also be your system needs maintenance; do you have a copy of Disk Warrior 4?
