12bit as 16bit in FCP

Hello

Does anyone know if I can get 4 channels of 12bit audio as 4 channels of 16bit audio in FCP?

I want to record 4 Ch 12bit on my XL2, and edit in 16bit in FCP.

Thanks

You may get sync drift on long form but you can try to capture as a 48kHz.

To get all 4 channels, you will have to do 2 pass.
Go to your Audio Video Settings>Capture Presets
Duplicated the 48kHz Preset
In QuickTime Audio setting pop-up choose to capture the First 2 channels, then duplicate the Preset and choose the Second 2 channels.
