Copy files from Mac Pro to PC hard drive

I have a client where I need to put my Convergent Designs files I have converted from .MOV to MXF onto a PC hard drive. Is there software that lets me write onto a PC hard drive from my Mac Pro?

Yes, there are a handful. Some are pay-ware and some are free but the task is easily accomplished either way, here's one example:

NTFS-3G: Stable Read/Write NTFS Driver

Thanks Robert I will check out NTFS-3G. Is that what you use.

Yesterday I also found Macdisk.com.

Purchase an inexpensive external hard drive - open the Disc Utility app on your Mac - format the drive as MS-DOS file system.
You are now ready to transfer files back and forth between your Mac & PC with this external Hard Drive.

Good Luck!

David,

Are you kidding it is that easy? Makes me feel pretty silly that I did not know that one, but always nice to learn something new every day.

Thank you!

But note that there's a file size limitation of (I think) 4GB in FAT32 systems. That's not an issue most of the time, but with video files ...

Not a reason for not adopting this excellent suggestion - just something to watch for

Thanks Nick I knew that one but it is important to put in the thread.

I will be transferring Convergent Designs Nano files that I convert from .MOV to .MXF and then put the files on the PC HD. Convergent Designs limits their file size to 3.5GB so there is not a problem with the FAT32 4GB limit.
