Log and Capture NOT working please help asap!
 

So I posted about this problem a couple of months ago and am still having issues. I started capturing footage from a wedding I shot last weekend and realized a few clips in that I was capturing 24pa footage without the 2:3:3:2 pulldown, so I changed it to the correct setting and now I want to go back and capture the footage again.

The first time I opened the Log and Capture window I had the ability to name each clip, log it, then batch capture. Now I can change the reel name, but I cannot name the clip- it automatically names it whatever I put as the description. I even tried creating a whole new project, but it still won't let me name my clips!

Also when I tell FCP to capture the window comes up telling me it's queing source material. The camera whirs and then starts to play the clip from my desired in point and stops at my desired out point. Final Cut then happily informs me that it is unable to read the movie file just captured. I have also tried capturing just a single clip, as well as Capture Now. No dice. I tried changing the capture setting back, still won't capture correctly. Tried restarting the computer, STILL won't capture. Thing that pisses me off so badly is that it worked fine two days ago.

Someone please help! I cannot figure this out!
