Just starting Final Cut 5. Need some quick help.

Hello guys I thought I setup everythnig correctly and started to capture with my Z1u and everything seemed fine but when I went to play the video in the timecode I found it was unrendered. How do I capture so when I start to edit the raw footage it does not need to be rendered from the start?

Before you creat a project, go to the Final Cut Pro menu, in the "Easy Setup", choose HDV-180i60. Then create a blank project. That will correctly setup the capturing and timeline for HDV environment.
