Capturing with FCP 5. Missing some shots!

Hey guys I have everything working for the capture but I ntoiced while eiditng that it seems to have missed a lot of footage while capturing. THis is really a bummer. anyone know whats up with this? or how it can be fixed?

With at least the JVC GR-HD1, if your shots are less than 5 seconds, this is a possibility. I think it is the camera and not necessarily the NLE.

Which camera are you using and how long are your shots?
