Out of memory error
I started editing a short movie today and received an "Error: Out of memory" message when I tried to open a clip in the viewer. I have 3 Gig worth of memory and had no other programs running with FCP 5.
After restarting the computer, I was able to put one clip in the viewer. When I tried to open another one, the viewer disappeared and the error message popped up. I can no longer add any clips to the viewer without the memory error unless I restart the computer, in which case the process starts all over again.
Any ideas what to do?
