FCP to Bluray using share
I got a 2 hour video on my timeline with chapters that I want to burn to Bluray using the share in FCP, I have an external BD burner, and my question is this possible, I read a thread somewhere else stating that if using FCP share, the video shouldn't exceed 1 hour, how true is this?

Re: FCP to Bluray using share
This may sound silly, but what happens when you try it ?
Use BD-RE discs and you can over write then time and time again - so you lose nothing by trying things. |

"so you lose nothing by trying things."
Except maybe a day of encoding and burning time. ;) |

Re: FCP to Bluray using share
I just happened to pass by this thread and can't resist to support Rickey. I do not have an answer on his question, but feel that one of the great benefits of forums like this is that you do not have to spend time to find out everything by yourself. I believe the point of a forum is to become one large source of intelligence, not one large source of workhorse power, repeating 'research' that someone else might already have done.

Re: FCP to Bluray using share
I would agree, except no one has answered and it's been 2 or 3 days since the question. Lots of time to test it ;)

Re: FCP to Bluray using share
So people first have to judge the chance that someone knows the answer before asking a question? I truly hope my childen do not follow that approach at school. It won't contribute to their succes in life.
I stop with this discussion. I hope Rickey will share his answer, once he knows. I don't have a BD burner yet, but will buy one, one day. |
