Confused about Sequence Audio Settings

I have a sequence that is labled 48 KHz 32-bit floating point in the browser. When I examine the audio settings for the sequence it is set to 48K 16-bit.

Why the difference?

FCP uses 48 KHz, 16-bit audio, but I believe it uses 32-bit floating point audio rendering. So the two labels are referring to different things.
