Inexplicable Pops!

For the love of mercy please can someone tell me why my audio will pop inexplicably? I inspect the waveform and can find no noticable spike or pop or click but yet somehow there exists the sound of a pop/click?!!!! HELP!!!!! Please can someone tell me why this is and how I can correct it?
