Edit HDV on a mac, encode in a PC

Hi everyone!
If i want to edit my footage on a Mac but encode it on a PC, in what format should i output from Final Cut? I tried exporting QT movies encoded in both Apple intermediate codec and HDV1080p, but my PC don't recognize the files.

Thanks.

What program on the PC are you using to encode your files? There's a freeware program called SUPER © that can encode just about anything.

I was thinking about opening the files in Vegas and export in the desired format.
