FCP Workflow with Decklink

Hey guys: I have gotten some info about this already and am searching around for discussions. I'm shooting a documentary with the Canon A-1 this month, I just purchased the Deckink HD Extreme.

Now what do I do??

Suggestions or links to advice about the best workflow under these circumstances? I will be mixing stills with moves on them, old VHS footage and SD with the HD interviews and b-roll. Want great quality, this will be projected for a big event, and then distributed on DVD (sd of course) after that.

How would you post this with my setup for optimal results?

Thanks.
