HDV > SD downconvert question
 
Alright so my painfully slow G5 does not handle editing HDV as well as I would have liked so I may try downconverting to SD for post.

My question is, can I export a full frame widescreen Quicktime movie for web distribution from an SD project? Basically, I DO NOT want it to be letterboxed. Is this possible? I've tried a few settings but have had no luck.

Ok it may have been an issue with anamorphic settings, but if anyone has any other input feel free to chime in.

just set your Frams Size correctly for 16:9 and you'll be good to go.

for PAL it should be 1024 x 576
for NTSC it should be 853 x 480
