Print to Video Crashing in Beginning
 

MAC OS 10.4.9, FCP 5.1.4...

Everything is rendered and the settings are correct. It's strange because I can pick certain parts on the timeline and it will work fine, but when I tried to mark the in and out as a whole it goes to the hit ok button to start, hit record on the camera, and then two seconds later it goes back to the timeline screen, nothing recorded.

Any ideas?

Instead of print to video try "edit to tape" instead. If that doesn't work export your timeline as a quicktime movie, then drop that movie on a new timeline and try printing to tape.

I just recalled reading the post on rendering the mixdown and it seems to be working now.

I'm going to try edit to tape as well to see how that does.
