Highest quality on the web

I have some HDV and stills that I want to make available on the www. I have used the Canon 5D Mk 2 to capture both the video and the stills. I used Final Cut Studio 2 and PhotoShop to edit on a iMac. What hosting site allows the highest quality for both downloading and watching live? Can I establish a simple website using iWeb for example and reference to the host site? Obviously I have never done this so please speak basic.
Thanks
Kent

For $69.95 a year, Vimeo Plus is the best bet for right now.

At the same time, you can avoid unintelligent and trollish comments that you normally get on YouTube when you use Vimeo.
