o my gosh... you really have been thinking outside the box with this one...

I don't know whether this is a good application in wedding videography or not, but it is certainly a damn good effort.

I guess we could expect a phoenix rig from cinevate soon or something as a rig to radio helicopters :P

Well done!

Gary...that is really really cool! There was show on TV that featured a similar R/C helicopter rig...it wasn't used to shoot weddings but to gather footage of beach front properties for Real Estate firms to give to their prospective buyers. Not too sure if there is a market where you are for that.

Wow, I'm impress with your creativity.
Would you like to share information on your set up?
Although I am relativity new to wed videog, and I don't use even some basic toys like steadicam and fisheye, I am so curious!! did you have a remote viewfinder? What type of camera did you use? I have so manny questions, I hope you share!!!
hummm..... I bet I could get my fiancée to a shoot if a remote control helicopter toy was involved.

That's just awesome idea.

And the footage looks really good. GREAT JOB

I am along the lines of Mary.. I am trying to get into videography, be it weddings, events, etc. I have been dying to get a rather expensive toy.. been a while since I have looked at it tho.. but it's basically the "ufo" remote toy but with much better parts.. brushless motors and such. However.. I don't think it could carry a good HD camera.. I could be wrong. How much did that rig cost..and how long to learn to pilot it smoothly without crashing it.

I really like the idea of the video moving away in the air..that was very neat. Good job.
