Aerial Cam

I am looking into the feasibility of having a camera attached to a small remote controlled helicopter for aerial shots of snowboarding for a snowboard dvd. I am wondering if anyone has any experience of any similar set up?

I guess there will have to be a lightweight wireless pinhole type camera attached to the helcopter which transmits the feed to a receiver which is linked to my Canon XM2 (GL2). Does anyone know what sort of quality these miniature cameras will give? One site stated 480 lines of resolution. What is that in comparison to my XM2 or to any other standard digital camcorder? Will i lose quality in the wireless transmission?

Also what do you think the feasibility of obtaining a steady moving shot from a RC helicopter will be?

Is this idea completely impossible?

Thanks
Chris

Wescam is a manufacturer and implementer of stable system mounts. I don't know if you could check with them. The choppers that are used for film and video are often much larger than a small rc. Depending on the camera and mount weight.
Wescam is a Canadian company that has mounts used on the shuttle, Olympics and a million films( mostly chopper shots)
Titanic, etc. They also pioneered the cams in Formula 1 racing.
They may have something for RC stuff
Some small lipstick cams are quite good and have vibration dampening but of course quality is most often costly.
Also consider motion tracking software like Boris Red for post
