Its interesting to see all the ways people are starting to Use MR's. I'd like to know what the lights are, where to get them and how much they are?

completely off topic, but why is it that so many of these folks trying to sell widgets to high end video markets can't seem to use anything other than far-away camera mikes for their audio?

Because very few of these small developers have marketing departments or actually do any high end production themselves.

When widgets costs tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of dollars you got sexy marketing and not necessarily products that worked any better than the widgets developed by small companies who often sell similar widgets for a lot less but can't afford expensive marketing.
