Re: Wedding Aerial View

Very nice. Only quibble is that the"music" gets a bit boring as it's the same pattern over and over, but then again I'm an unrepentant classical music bigoted old fart kind of person who mainly records classical orchestras, so feel free to ignore me.

But nice flyovers and nice job of avoiding flying over their heads.

Re: Wedding Aerial View

Aircraft is a F550 setup with larger motors, 12" props and 6 cell batteries. The camera is a GoPro H3 with H32D DJI gimbal. Wind on this day was right at about 15 mph. I was only able to get usable material early in the day and again at sunset. The rest of the day it was just too windy.

Re: Wedding Aerial View

Beautiful Video. Really nice venue.

I see something I want to ask about. Im not sure if what I see is due to my slower processor on the PC Im on or if its the video.
It seems to be slightly "choppy" on my end in playback. I have been noticing this in quite a few aerial vids shot with the GoPro. I shoot with one also at 2.7K /30fps . Im just trying to figure out what I see on occasion and if my vids are looking the same

Re: Wedding Aerial View

very nice Chris. Just wondering if you were the main contractor for the wedding, or just booked as subcontractor for the flying footage only? My goal is to see if the flying is a value add ( line item ) you can produce for a client that you would have gotten anyway based on your more traditional wedding package.

Re: Wedding Aerial View

I was hired to do the whole wedding video. They hired me because of the aerial work I have done at other weddings but I made it very clear that if the wind was above 15mph that I would not be able to fly. Wind is the single biggest factor in doing these. You can't change the wedding day or time. Many, many days here in Fresno are too windy to get good footage.
