Phantom3 Camera options

Just ordered a Phantom 3 advanced with the 1080p 60fps version camera
I had a version 1 previously and this v3 seems an improvement

About the Camera..
Same Sony sensor on both so is the 4k thing just firmware? (I have an ax100 but usually use the 1080mode)

Which sony cameras have this sensor?

I have the P3 Advanced. It's great!

I also own a 4k Sony X1000V Action Cam. I'm not certain, but I think the X1000V shares the same sensor with the P3 Pro. I find myself shooting in 1080P 60P on the Sony cam, so I went for the P3A instead of the 4k model. No regrets whatsoever - footage out of the P3A is fantastic.

Makes perfect sense that would be the camera
BTW I just bought your book cuz I'm heading out in my antique Travco at some point

I had a vision+ but sold it and have ordered a P3P. I like the idea of being able to crop into the scene if necessary. Theres a bit of talk on some of the forums regarding the current firmware, hope it's sorted by the time i get mine.
