Pushing the camera on it's pedestal was called a truck whereas a pan (well you know)
I shot it yesterday using a Phantom 3a and the Point of Interest Mode
So here is a new one and done 120' up, a panning truck,

Re: Slow orbit

Looks great... so smooth. Can you set the speed of the rotation?

I ordered a Phantom 3p yesterday - can't wait for it to arrive.

Re: Slow orbit

yep forsure
this orbit was about as slow as it goes and it will travel perhaps 10x faster
That was the actual recorded speed btw not slomoed
You take off in P mode and proceed to your point of interest in this case the plumber's house and I pointed the camera straight down and switch to F mode at which point the menue comes up for either waypoints or POI and you select the speed and radius by moving off the centre of the roof and adjusting the gimbal angle in this case to some distance that looks alright, hit apply and if you haven't started recording, do so now then tap apply and you are off on a perfect orbit.
I used the DJI app on an ipad for this but also have the android app litchi on a nexus7 which allows you to pre-program stuff in advance
You will love this aircraft, I remember you had an early version as did I and this 3gen is a dream to operate
I have the RC and Ipad mounted to a tripod with a sunshade for the screen and a big black golf umbrella over everything.
