Tried a similar shot with the first Inspire but the noise in the fog was terrible.

The title of the first sound effect is "the most annoying sound ever". I immediately thought of Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber. Made me laugh so I had to use it.

sounded like a Space Invaders game!! :-)

I'd be worried about moisture in the fog effecting the motors?

Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere but I see that DJI have introduced a thermal imaging camera DJI - The World Leader in Camera Drones/Quadcopters for Aerial Photography

Yes, I saw where they mated the stand alone FLIR camera made for sUAS with their Zenmuse gimbal. That thermal camera has been available for a few months now from FLIR as a stand alone unit to mount on other sUAS systems.

A good set up for many uses, including over head of fire scenes to assist firefighters in directing their efforts or assessing risk to personnel.

Our motors will actually run fine under water. Over the years we have flown our helicopter rigs in rain, snow and mist. We had to spray the electronics with CorrosionX to not have problems. RC boat guys have been doing it for years. Our Freefly Alta rigs are even designed to fly in light rain/moisture.

The real challenge to getting good shots in fog is to fly on a day when both the temp and dew point are at or slightly below freezing. Otherwise you keep getting condensation on the camera lens.

My motto is - the more you know, the more stupid stuff you can try to do!
