So now we have fairly low cost 4K dispalys, in addition to 4K DI, 4K cameras and 4K projectors. I think that digital film production in the future will be 4K. The digital theater standard calls for 4K as one of the options.

The display is approx. 4K = 8 MP.

^Sony annouced a SXRD 4K Projection system for cinematic presentation, but this LCD 4K TV would be great for montioring the RED camera's feed.

I wait for the day cost-efficient global shutter 60fps capable CMOS sensors emerge for use on major manufacturers' cameras. (Sony, Canon, etc.) Rolling Shutters are a plague.
