HDR-HC3, gs400
I am sorry these are basicly just faq's
Hi, I am on the verge of buying a camera but I am not quite sure what to buy. Now am trying to choose between HDR-HC3 and gs400 (I am aware that gs400 has better manual controls) but what I cant find out which camera has better footage quality regarding colors; the gs400 has 3 ccd's but HDR-HC3 uses csmos sensor, does he have three csmos (one for each color?)? Also how hard will it be to edit htv footage on a 2,41 Ghz 480 mbRAM PC? I do not have a HDTV but will I be able to see my hd footage in full quality on my computer flatscreen? |
You will see the full spatial detail on the computer screen, but because it is progressive you won't see the full temporal effect of your interlaced footage.
A 2.4GHz is probably not workable for HDV. Rule of thumb is a 2.8-3.0 or better, and dual-core if possible. (Which is actually not too horribly expensive if you can simply upgrade your CPU... but that depends on your current motherboard etc of course). |
