Panasonic releasing new P2 products inculding the AJ-HPC2000

Panny is taking a huge swing at XDCAM HD and the HDV group with their new products and guess what! They are now supporting Mpeg4 (h.s64) compression. They are saying that the new codec is alot more efficient than the older mpeg-2 long GOP codec. We have now a new format war (not Blu ray Vs HD DVD)

Jemore,

As a matter of courtesy, please do not post links to other online forums. If you were a business man who owned a restaurant, you wouldn't like me to stand in your restaurant and tell people to go eat somewhere else. That's kind of what I am referring to here.

regards,

-gb-

Greg my intention was not to divert DVinfo users, if you feel that you dont need the post in the forum delete it along with the other unwanted posts.

Jemore, thanks for that link, very good info.

Greg, stuff it.

Last I saw, the owner of this site was not selling anything and info such as that bit is perfectly fair in a forum that presents itself as a way for pros and future pros to exchange information.

Thanks Gary for the chin up, I thought DVinfo was more democratic than that.
