Hey guys, was wondering what your thoughts are about this brand new HDV project. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...ist&sku=477026

It has SDI connections, the playback is more professional, and just a lot more professional connectors.

Was wondering how the HD-SDI will benefit HDV footage?

The only benefit of the HD-SDI port is the ability to dub to HDCAM without an external HDV->HD-SDI converter. Otherwise, if you plan to edit, just get a cheaper VTR with just a Firewire port.
