Hi
i have a hdr-fx1 and i would like to buy a 35mm adapter but there is so much brand. can someone tell me the big difference. i saw sgpro, brevis, letus m2...i know letus flip the screen i think it'S a big plus but please someone explain or help me thank you. my budget is about 1000$. nikon or canon lenses? |
See this thread for a review of three good ones. You did not reference the M2, from Redrock.
http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...6&goto=newpost I have built a Micro 35, using Redrocks plans as a guide, but doing my own adaptations. Go to www.Micro35.com. They sell plans, and a disk for about $50.00. I am leaning toward Brevis for my FX1, for simplicity of use. It appear to be easier to set up and shoot, and run and gun. You may need one or two of their extension tubes, as I have some concern about the ability of the FX1, to zoom and close focus. I bought their achromat for my Micro35, and do have to have quite an extension to get inside the vignetting on my Pentax K mount lenses. Its quite possible they have some kind of condenser at work in their tube, though. |
I have a Brevis + FX1 and I assure you the FX1 zooms in fine, with the 72mm achromat, no spacers needed. A very solid setup--I get fantastic images.

Hey Ben. Is there a condenser between the prime lens and Ground glass screen on the Brevis ? Either way, what range are you zooming at.
