WiFi and live streaming HDV/DVCPro HD at DVinfo.net

OK, well i recently tried out a WiFi adapter for my 5D, hooked it up to my lappy and went nuts.. set the app to save all files to an external USB drive... went smooth as silk.. nolag.. no bottlenecks..

Now i was wondering.. is there an application out there which allows for a similar thong to happen with HDV/DV/DVCPRo HD?
ive seen broadcast ENG cameras with remote transmitters, and its been a while since ive looked into this so im a little behind in the times..

basically what i would love to do is run a wifi connection from the camera to the lappy and capture straigth to HDD.. similar to a DTD device, but using a lappy instead..
Another good option would be run a live wireless mixer..

Considering the speeds of the latest wifi, i dont see why this couldnt be possible...
All we really need is a transmitter and the software..
