Need help for correct capture settings at DVinfo.net

Hi all,

Firstly, sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm stuck, so thought I'd try my luck here...

Well I just got the new Edius v5, and i am wanting some advice re capturing hd footage from sony z7 camera 1080i50. Can't seem to find a capture preset which connects with camera. I am capturing via firewire.

Please help

make sure you start a 1440x1080i project

then go to capture, generic HDV capture and choose the Pal 50i setting

also, make sure the camera is set to output in HDV mode and not DV mode (camera setup menu)
