Blu Ray problem

Good afternoon,

I down loaded edius 5.4 Demo and have been very impressed with its realtime playback in particular!! I sorted out the basics (came from Vegas 9.0) fairly easily.

I built a 43 minute project, burnt a blu ray rough very easily, very simplistic but efffective.

I did some more advanced color correction and such, went to burn and get this notation!!

"Encountered an improper argument"

I checked the burner out and it burns with vegas alright.

5:15 I went back and rebuilt the project (glad I save current versions) and it is burning just fine at the moment

I shut down and reloaded the older file and it allowed me to edit the original file, then reoppened the improved version, same problem.

Reloaded the original and it is working as I speak.

Any Idea? Would like to know what I may have done wrong if anyone actually knows!!!

Thank you,

Dale

I suspect you changed something that made the project incompatible with BR specs.

there is no Edius 5.4

can you have a look at help, version info and confirm the version number?

"Encountered an improper argument" was fixed when 5.12 came out, it can happen in earlier versions

Good afternoon,

I downloaded 5.10 the trial version.

I am going to purchase this program next week. Lots to learn, fairly different interface from my vegas pro.

Make sure you update it to 5.5 once you buy it.
