normally, the reference manual is part of your installation DVD and gets installed

and F1 is shortcut for help and it should open

in any case, you can login to your account after registering your serial number and then find many downloads for your product

The manual is also available ion the same page as the demo download. You can reaname is edius.pdf and stick it in the program folder for it to pop up when you click help. or so I have been told.
