How do I convert HDV to Canopus HQ in procoder express
 

Hi GUys,

I just want to convert M2t files captured from the JVC pro vd 111.

I have shot in 720p 25

I want to create a watch folder and convert the M2t to canopus HQ for editing in edius. I only have the 1080i in canopus HQ, no 720p etc if I try through HD tab.

Now if I look at the HDV 720 lines tab there is options for all my modes however I want to convert to CAnopus HQ, not M2t.

Where am I going wrong. Hope someone can assist, I have confused myself.

Here's a link to a tutorial I made just for you. Be advised I made it on the quick and go so as a result there is no audio. But, they say a picture is worth a 1000 words. Should be self explanatory.

Thanks so much for that mate. I just recently moved to HD and its a learning curve that I have not seen for a few years. Your work for your tutorial was amazing, what a nice idea. How did you create that file, what did you use, all tutorials should be done that way. Again, so glad the dv info forum has this kind of help, canopus forum is fairly lame in comparison to dv info.

I hope the tutorial worked for you! It really wasn't that hard to make. In fact, it was done entirely by an application named Camtasia by Techsmith. Armed with this piece of software, anyone could produce interesting and informative tutorials. It's always a good feeling when you can help someone else out.
