Interesting... I was born in NY, but moved to Oregon when I was 4, so I don't remember much. All, I could remember was being robbed constantly (my family was in a bad condition of poorness and poverty back then, we're doing a little bit better now) and just the streets and downtown was EXTREMELY crowded. As Donald Trump says on his show, New York is the most beautiful place in the US, and the most ugliest.

Well, to bring some updates, I got my UPS package and everything looks great, no damages or nothing. B&H even has this nice seal of safety on their packages just incase the package has been vandalized or opened. It took about 11 days for it to come, but that was because of the weather and constant delays in UPS in our state. I just ordered some more accessories, and this time it came within 3 days. :-)

My advice on the 7 day return policy is when you get the camera or whatever piece of gear, run it through the paces. Make sure all the features work. Plug in microphones and test the inputs. Play with all the knobs. Run tape through it. Play it back through the camera and through another deck or camera to check head alignment. That's what I did when I got my DVX100 (not through B&H). It's important check things as they come in.

Has anyone had experience with Tri State Camera? GL2 for $1,849 after rebate, compared to B&H (who I really like) at $1,979 after rebate. Is this $150 gamble worth it?

I bought a Sony Mic from Tri-State Camera and saved about $20.00. The advertising said nothing about it being USED! When I got it, it had the credit card receipt inside from another buy that must of returned it. I checked it out and it worked just fine (and came with 2 free AA batteries) so I didn't make a stink BUT I will never order from them again.
