Tripod and fluid head for my birthday.
 

OK as it says in the post. My birthday is coming up and I want a tripod with fluid head for my 550d/T2i. I fancy the Fancier ws 270 at £130 I am sure this will do but do you guys suggest anything better around the same price? Don't want to go more than £150.

Looking at the date of your post , I guess you have probably bought something by now ?

Just in case you haven't - last time I was in Calumet in Glasgow , they had a fluid ( effect , I guess ) video tripod at about that price - cant remember what it was , but might have been a Libec ?

Another possibility for you is Ffordes up in Beauly , they do a lot of used / ex display stock , largely Manfrotto , and may well have something to suit .

I finally ended up with the Fancier 370 and am more than happy with it.
