RENT: Tokina 11-16 Lens Canon and DP SLider : Bay Area, CA

Hi I need a Tokina 11-16mm lens for a Canon 7D and a 30" to 38" DP slider with the tripod unless I can attach it to my Miller head.

Need it by June 26th.

I can also pick up in Sacramento where the event is being held. Will be returned the next day.

Help needed in ATLANTA!

Hey friends,

I'm a sophomore up at Notre Dame, back home in Atlanta for the summer.

I'll be shooting my short film Red Tape probably the third-fourth week in July and will be shot on Canon 7D, maybe XHA1 and an HV30.

I decided to post here to elicit any kind of help and to meet local enthusiasts. I'm really looking for anyone with an Indieslider, 7D, 5D, lenses (especially canon L and tokina super-wides) any kind of sound experience/equipment, any experience in prop building, or any equipment that could be useful.

I don't have any funds to pay, but I believe it will be a fun learning experience for everyone involved.

I WILL, pay to rent lenses however. Looking for Zeiss primes, ultrawides (10 ~ 14 mm)

If you ever need any favors in return I will definitely lend a hand :)

We all gotta start somewhere, I'm just trying to get my feet off the ground!

Just giving this a shot, if interested, shoot me an e-mail. kzhuang@nd.edu

Here's my vimeo Kurt Zhuang's videos on Vimeo ; there's nothing substantial on there besides some clips.

Cheers!

New Orleans area: Shooter/Editor

We are beginning production on our second cable TV series, operating from the North Shore (Mandeville/Covington). We will need shooters and an editor. Some travel for the shooters will be involved.

Thanks, Jerry. I just keep creating new stuff. I don't know how to do this, but I keep learning! If you wait until you know what you are doing, you won't get anything done.

ESPN2 is dropping all of its outdoor programming at the end of the year. There was, as you might imagine, a rush for available time slots on other networks. Versus is now the largest cable network carrying outdoor programming. We started there last year with the first show I've owned (I've created and produced shows for other people), and just finished shooting the second season of that series.

So, what the heck? We jumped in and grabbed a good time slot, and now we are creating a second series. Gonna be fun, no matter what. That's a rule I have. If it's not fun, we don't do it.

Never know when we might shoot an episode in the Carolinas. Shoot me an email, if you would, so I have the contact info. We hop around a lot.

Tom

Help needed for video project in Shanghai

I need to get in contact with a professional videographer for a project that involves 2-3 days of shooting in a electronics factory environment in Shanghai. We need a reliable, skilled photographer to shoot according to a storyboard and deliver different creative shots in a very high quality, both creative and technical.

Anyone who can help, or who knows somebody that can handle such a job?
Please send me a p.m.

Bjorn

Need a sound cleaner

I have a audio source, vocal, that is distorted, it peaked out of and on the whole time. I've tried Soundsoap and Soundforge demos, but I'm sure other people have better software out there. So does anyone want to give this a shot, I'll pay them for their time if they can clean it well. You can email me or just post here, doesn't matter. Thanks in advance for your time.

They wipe off and as long as you don't put it back in the safe like that your fine.... (for those of you not familiar with blued firearms, fingerprints cause rust and need to be wiped down/cleaned before you store them)

I have "poison fingers." Acid in skin oils really pits gun finish. So, I'm really careful to wipe down guns.

It's no problem to handle the metal as along as you protect the metal before putting it away.
