V3HD vs Decklink HD Extreme

I'm in the process of upgrading to HD, and I've got an HPX500 on the way, so i'm committed to DVCPROHD, however I'm not sure which editing hardware system to go with.

I am PC based (with Adobe Premiere CS3) so i know that rules out AJA, however I have a client who is would love to see me go MAC (if they only paid for it!) so i would like something that is cross platform. Now, I don't do much work in the field or with a lot of other camera systems, however I am considering portability as a small factor.

Which would you choose and why? I've searched a bit and read about some of the differences on here and dvxuser, however I'm more looking for experiences of others.
