Laptop suitable for editing with Adobe?

Hello,
I am searching for a lap top (windows) that would work fine with editing my 60d footage in Adobe cs6.

Anyone have any good suggestions?

Thank you!

I have bought three Clevo laptops over the last 8 years and the latest works well with CS6, even in HD with 2 or 3 layers of keying.

Clevo laptops must be available worldwide, however, they do not put their name on the cases and may be branded differently in the 'States.

My dealer here in the UK: DVC, customises the laptops specifically for editing.

Here is their link so that you can see the range LAPTOPS

This document from Adobe should get you pointed in the right direction regarding what to look for in a computer:

The Clevo that Guy refers to are branded Sager in the states. I have a Sager 9170 with 32 gigs and an NVidia 670 that is about a year old, runs all the CS6 apps a treat. You can specify the build and buy a configuration that works for you. I am very happy with mine. http://www.sagernotebook.com/

Thank you all for your input. After looking at the adobe requirements I've decided to go with an ASUS. Particularly the ASUS G75VX-TS72

Not a bad price on a 17".

Last Friday I got a Dell XPS15 to use with Adobe CS5. I've had an onslaught of video projects and needed something I could edit with during lunch at my day job. I'm running a 3 cam HD wedding ceremony video off of a Western Digital 500GB USB3.0 drive and it's working great. The main thing for me was getting Windows 7, because I've spent some time in Windows 8 and don't really dig it.

I actually got my laptop from the Dell Outlet Store, brand new for $1,217 w/ 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM, and 2GB Video Card. (did the MPE hack today actually).

It's working great!

If anyone is looking for a good deal on a Windows 7 Dell laptop, here's info on how to buy at Dell's Outlet: Tech money tip of the month (TMTOTM) » KR Productions Blog
