minimum PC specs in editing HDV?
 
What is the minimum PC specs in editing HDV? I own a 3.2ghz intel with 1gb ram. will this suffice?

Yes.
 
With a 3.2? I'm assuming you're Pentium, so yes. But I might suggest you go for 2GB of RAM -it has helped me alot!!

I run on an Athlon 64 3700+ 2.2GHz and 2GB of RAM GeForce 7800GT 256MB and it's great! (soon to upgrade too 4GB of RAM, hehehe)

Absolutely. I've got a P4 2.66GHz with only 512MB RAM and can use Premiere Pro with Aspect HD to edit JVC 720p24 footage without any problems.
