Is it possible to have a ref preview with this configuration ?
After effects fire wire out to FX1, from FX1 component to Dell 2405FPW.
If yes would it work on premiere as well (using cineform's aspect hd)

I am talking about an HD preview not SD

Live HD previews via firewire aren't possible with the FX1 and any software unfortunately...

Try DV Rack with HDV.

Not exactly what I am looking for, but still a nice tool.
I need not so expensive solution to have an hd preview on a hdtv set to do a color correction and preview during editing.
The only affordable solution I have found is decklink with converter (goes for about $1500 for both ) and I don't need HD SDI IN .
