Jvc GY-HD100 unusual capture

I've been using the JVC GY-HD100U for almost a year now with Premiere Pro2 no plugins capture to raid-0. Everything works great let me add it's on the 24p HDV setting and Batch capture and capture on the fly works fine. I have only used the standard JVC mini-dv tapes from Circuit City, very few if no drop outs. Ok, so I bought some new tapes and shot something- I was having capture problems, the audio was out of sync, but it wasn't important and I was able to salvage what I had. A week later I had some more footage (new tape, same package) and was having same problems. Audio is out of sync/computer crashes/file on hard drive is corrupt. And here is the weirdest: I could capture like a 5min clip and the file on my hard drive would be like 8 mins or have audio from later on in the tape but the audio would be in sync in Premiere. It was a mix of these problems but basically capture was not working correctly. In troubleshooting this I went back to the last time everything worked and captured that taped worked great, I retried the 'bad' tapes and they were having the same problems. Has anyone heard of this, did I just end up buying a bad batch of tapes? I didn't think it would have results like this. I've gone crazy over this and I can only pin point it to these recent tapes I've bought being bad. If you are still with me......Please help.
