That's just the client monitor. I use the NTSC monitor. I'd love to sell that boat anchor and get another lil LCD but nobody wants the dang thing. lol

Grinner: nice "cave". Where did you get the desk? I'm going to be in the market soon and I like yours.

A client's husband made it for me for 1500 bucks. Awesome deal.

Grinner: I was "afraid" of that... Figured I'd have to spring for a custom jobbie. Thanks for responding. $1500 IS a steal. Now I just need to find a carpenter/woodsmith with too much money, too much time on his hands and a heart of gold...

It was a steal but was quite the buddy deal. Lord knows I cut her many breaks over the years. lol
There are not many consoles out there today big enough or high enough for what we do, if ya think about it. Even the $3k and above consoles are kind of like "eeeh, man I guess that would do." Don't settle. You'll be sitting there more than half of your waking hours. Grab a saw if you must. I can tell you, if you allow carple tunnel to set in, it can greatly affect your career. There are a few ways to get rid of it but only one way to avoid it... proper ergonomics. |
