Inexpensive Jib options?

Looking for an inexpensive Jib for a canon XHA1 and XLH1 cameras and some extras so figure another 4-5lbs ontop the camera weight.

Small size, low weight, easily transportable, and hopefully inexpensive are great concerns.

I was looking at a porta jib traveler which looks great but pricey. And would love to hear of anyone experince with it and others especially the Longvalley http://longvalleyequip.com/sevenjib.php its about 1300 compared to the portajib which is about 2500

Would love to hear any other options as well.

Hi Chris,

I use the Porta Jib (full size) and really like it. Excellent build quality and very smooth action. The support from the manufacturer is great, small company and personal service. I considered the Traveler version but wanted to hang heavier rigs off of it and have the ability to extend the arm reach, so went with the full size rig. The downside is it's not as portable.

I haven't used the Seven Jib but I've heard that it's pretty good too.

Best,

Simon.
