anyone use these jibs?

anyone try that? is it any good? I have so far looked into the portajib travler and 7 jib http://longvalleyequip.com/sevenjib.php and narrowed that down to the seven which would cost about 1400 plus a good tripod minimum of about 400 at BH.

The above kit is larger, includes a LANC, monitor, and tripod for 1100.

I am sure there are some trade offs, but would love to know if it works, and if it is a viable option especially since I plan to be short maybe 4-6foot out at most, for larger I would likely be renting anyway.
