hey ho,
i really cant decide between these two ones.

price is about the same when you add the extensions to the advanta jib to get to 10 ft.

on the advanta jib i really like the control system and the fact that you can operate it without power.
on the kessler i like that you can buy many add-ons for the crane and maybe extend the lenght even further in the future.

the crane will be used for films and music videos.
main cam will be a canon 5d/7d with remote follow focus.

which one would you buy and why?

I have the Kessler 12/8 and love it. You can now buy an additional extension kit to make it 18 feet. Can't speak about the Advanta jib or the pan/tilt controllers though. Cheers
