Cheers

Nice design Pete. What will the maximum payload be? and total length of camera?

Pete Mander June 14th, 2007 07:48 AM

thanks

the max payload I did tests at where at 55lb with the amp rate at 8.7 id like to the roboteq board handles an amp limit of 30, but i am more concered or striping gears on the tilt, this is where the most stress is, the pan and roll have an amp rate of no more then 3 amp per channel.. so its nothing realy. I will rate the system for 35lb as standard load.

We have just come across a new motor with bigger gearteeth but nothing tested yet, id like to get it set to where our jib is rated at 100lb load for film cams but that later:)

Pete, just wondering if you got my email on July 8th "re:Remote Head"?

Pete Mander October 12th, 2007 02:39 PM

yes we have talked since:)

been awhile since Ive posted about this system but ive had to make a few changes so the look of the system is alittle differnt an ive added two roboteq boards now instead of one.

We are still getting the manual together in the meantime and hope to have the first system done by December

Thanks all for the commets
