HM170 vignetting issue after firmware update

I recently updated the firmware to V0106-0096 via the JVC website. I believe the camera was shipped with V0102-xxxx. After updating per JVC's instructions, the camera began to exhibit some corner vignetting at all apertures and throughout the zoom range, but most notably between zoom numbers 0-10 and then from 33-99.

I'd like to revert the firmware to a previous version to see if it clears up the issue, but can't seem to locate a file other than the most current firmware available. I've left two separate emails for JVC support last week and a detailed voice message today, and have yet to receive a response. That said, are there any suggestions on solving the problem?

Anyone?

I spoke via phone with a JVC Pro representative on the afternoon of Tuesday, the 8th. He said he was waiting to hear from a technician. No contact from JVC since, even though I sent an email on Friday the 11th asking for a status update.

Re: HM170 vignetting issue after firmware update

Received the firmware version which shipped with the camera and reinstalled it this morning. The vignetting issue is much less prominent than it was under v0106-0096, which leads me to believe the peripheral focus improvements between v102 and v106 may be the culprit. Either way, I'm looking forward to the end of September when Histogram and lower bitrate 4K recording will be available via new firmware.
