DV Camps Launches HDV Training Event

HDV has come a long way and continues to create buzz witnessed at NAB with Sony’s preview prototype camcorder plus several additions in the realm of post-production workflow. If you’re interested in learning more about these and other new developments attend this event and experience first hand how HDV technology is changing the way people think about HD content acquisition and delivery.

You get hands on time with the JVC-JYHD10U. For the first time, you see how Mac and PC apps perform side by side under close scrutiny. A real world match up between Final Cut Pro 4, Adobe Premiere Pro and Sony Vegas Video 5, using the latest 3rd party encoding solutions from CineForm, Heuris, AJA, and Lumiere. Don't miss it!

The two-day hands-on event is slated for June 5-6 at Hollywood Studio Rentals, 2400 West Olive Avenue Burbank, California. After seeing these HDV workflow solutions in action, you’ll become more informed and able to make better decisions about this new and exciting technology. Event fee $100. Geoff,

Thanks for the heads up.

I was interested in the HDV Roadshow training camps but when i contacted them I was told it was more for the 'industry' and I probably wouldn't benefit from it.

Is this for the average Joe or more for 'industry' folk?

Thanks.

Troy

Will they have any additional information on new hardware (Sony, etc)?

Thanks.

Troy

As you probably know, their entry into the HDV realm is in the development stages. However, we're speaking with Sony and hope to have a representative at the event.
